TROUBLESHOOTING EXPERIENCE This is the job description: ! HR Platform Application Engineer (2-5 Years Experience) - Learning and Development Product Line. This position supports the software development lifecycle for software solutions, with a primary focus on maintaining vendor software- Workday Learning. All while adhering to Agile framework to develop enhancements and operating the platform through configuration, automation, and integration. Functions and responsibilities include - Debugs and fixes errors by applying basic programming concepts & patterns. Applies in-depth knowledge of business domain to develop and enhance business workflows. Builds and supports low code solutions. Manages and automates application testing suites. Participates in moving software from test to production status under software engineering principles. Has experience in Agile Framework, Scrum, and DevOps and is comfortable in translating business partner needs for consumption by Software Engineers. As a SME may act as a Product Owner delegate for the business function. This position requires Workday Learning functional knowledge and experience. ? DAILY ACTIVITIES: Work on PI Planning identified initiatives 1. Work on Workday related enhancements 2. Work on new initiatives as identified by the Product Line Manager and Product Owner 3. Attend stand-ups meetings and provide progress updates 4. Identify blockers to ScrumMaster ? DAILY ACTIVITIES: Work on ServiceNow / ADO Tickets ? these are support related tickets 5. Check ServiceNow for any new tickets and update current tickets that are escalated from managed services 6. Triage issues and decide if defects or Enhancements 7. Work with Product Owner and Platform Manager on the Enhancement Tickets 8. Defects should be worked and migrated if not critical or high as part of a release 9. Critical/ High Defects can be added to exception migration process 10. Communicate requestor and update ServiceNow tickets as needed ? WEEKLY / MONTHLY ACTIVITIES: Attend standard meetings 1. Weekly Meeting with Agile Project Manager to discuss progress or blockers. 2. Attend PI Planning meeting. ? Technical Skillsets o PowerApps o PowerBI o Power Automate
