Role – Hyperion Developer

Job Description
Experience working in Support projects with proficiency using Hyperion Essbase 11.1.2.X BSO/ASO, Essbase Studio, SmartView, Administrative Services, LCM, Hyperion Shared service , EAS and Essbase Studio , Hyperion Provider service.
Knowledge in creating\maintaining Windows Batch scripting for automation of Maxl scripts rules file data load\dimension build , Essbase studio deployment and other Essbase processes
Involved in Performance Tuning to minimize data load time and calculation execution time using the Dense/Sparse settings, various calculation scripting settings, responsible for performance monitoring, backup and recovery of the cubes and also implemented various troubleshooting procedures to recover databases.
Administered Security, User creation with Native and External authentication, Filters, Dimensional level Security, Groups and assign the proper privileges
Maintain production Essbase databases, including data management, hierarchy updates, calculation script updates, MDX, data backups, and user security
Very proficient in writing Calculation Scripts and automating the Essbase cubes using MaxL, ESSCMD, MDX and Batch Scripts.
Having infrastructure knowledge of performing patch update on the hyperion environment , checking logs , restart of hyperion services , migration of the hyperion artifacts during platform and software upgrade
Understanding of T-SQL and SQL Server. Schedule and Automate jobs in SQL server Agent .
Knowledge in creating\maintaining SSIS packages . Troubleshooting issues with SSIS packages.
Ability to meet deadlines and handle pressure in coordinating multiple tasks in a work/project environment. Outstanding team player with an aptitude to learn. Strong analytical, communication, interpersonal, customer interaction and problem solving skills in technology arena.
The selected candidate should have excellent communication skills including written and verbal. Good Documentation skills.
Willingness to take up responsibility in troubleshooting issues and timely communication with Offshore on the resolution or updates.
Proven skills in quality assurance, including creation of testing scripts and test execution
