Job Title – Teradata Developer
Location – Sunnyvale CA
Teradata Leads with Good understanding in Datawarehouse Concepts Strong ETL Background Data Extraction Transformation and loading in target from heterogeneous Sources
Hands-on exposure to Teradata Utilities (Mload , FLoad & TPT) Strong Hands On SQL Scripting Joins, Indexes, Stored Procedures
Good Understanding On Teradata Architecture Data modeling Knowledge
Strong Hands On Performance tuning
Ability to play Analyst role to transform Business requirements to Technical Design
Data Analysis and debugging Data issues for converting
UNIX Commands ( File/Folder management , Unix Log analysis and debugging ) & Shell scripting Knowledge
Good Exposure to Unix Operating System UNIX Commands FileFolder management Unix Log analysis and debugging UNIX Shell scripting Knowledge
Job Scheduling Concepts and tools and technology
Knowledge & experience in Python is good to have
Key Qualifications
3+ years’ experience as a software test engineer
Able to write/debug scripts in Python or Bash
Proven ability to analyze and find root causes in multi-tiered, client-server environments.
Excellent Manual testing skills with attention to details
Experience in test planning, test design, test authoring, and execution
Familiar with iOS, Mac OS, debugging and profiling tools
Familiar with different logging and analytics frameworks like Splunk
Possess excellent written and verbal communications skills in English.
