Position :-   VMWare Engineer
Location :-  Atlanta , GA  INITIALLY REMOTE
Client :-Tech Mahindra

Job Description
 

 

  • Expertise experience on Virtualization, ESX and VMWare
  • Hands on experience with VMWare and Managing and troubleshooting skills in  VMWare ESXi Server Infrastructure.
  • vSphere systems administration/support (VMotion, HA, DRS, VDS, Affinity rules, VCenter, storage migrations, P2V migrations).
  • Troubleshooting / Root cause identification
  • Install / Configure /Upgrade Virtual platform environment
  • Configure and Manage multipath solution for SAN storage LUNs
  • Good hands on the command line of ESX.
  • Good hands on Experience in diagnostics & troubleshooting of ESX server environment.
  • Good understanding of HA and DRS environments.
  • Upgrade and Maintain VMWare ESX and GSX servers and virtual sessions
  • Complex Health Checking.
  • Performance and capacity management on VMWare servers
  • Work on major severity and complex server issues
  • RCA preparation and meeting SLA for RCA submission.
  • Planning and implementing fixes / Patches
  • Work with Change & Problem Management Tools
  • Create regular reports for Management requirements
  • Identify and recommend improvements to existing processes
  • Analyze Problems & escalate to appropriate Levels.
  • The ability to understand customer requirements and present solutions that will meet business objectives
