Job Title: Mainframe Production Support Engineer
Location: Richardson, TX (Initially Remote But After Pandemic It’s On-site)
Job Descriptions/Responsibilities:
· Good hands on experience with Mainframe system
· Good knowledge of programming languages like COBOL and SQL
· Strong DB2 person
· Production Support experience is mandatory
· Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
· Identify root causes of technical issues, job failures..
· Demonstrate problem solving, analysis, and prioritization skills.
· Implement best production support programming practices
· Perform level of effort estimates for assigned tasks and change orders
· Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
· Ability to communicate with users at all organizational levels.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
