Must have skills: Mainframe, COBOL, JCL, VSAM, DB2, Production Support

 

Responsibilities:

  • Good hands on experience with Mainframe system
  • Good knowledge of programming languages like COBOL and SQL
  • Strong DB2 person
  • Production Support experience is mandatory
  • Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Identify root causes of technical issues, job failures
  • Demonstrate problem solving, analysis, and prioritization skills.
  • Implement best production support programming practices
  • Perform level of effort estimates for assigned tasks and change orders
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to communicate with users at all organizational levels.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
