Job Description:
Technical/Functional Skills
Hands on development and administration experience in Tableau architecture
Tableau Data source and architecture design
Must have exp. monitoring Tableau server utilization and capacity planning
Tableau Server administration, installation and configuration skills
Strong ability to call out best practices of development and critiquing design approaches
Must have excellent communication, documentation, and presentation skills
Strong ability to encompass in-depth knowledge of fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures of Tableau Server Environment
Proven ability to lead the Team, successfully plan and manage projects to completion
Experience Required
Minimum 3 years of Tableau Server administration and Windows Server administration experience
Design and development experience in the Tableau environment
Experience with Citrix and Citrix virtual desktop environment
Proficient in Tableau command line utility
Good understanding of database concepts including writing SQL statements
Strong troubleshooting skills
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, related fields or equivalent work experience required
Tableau Certified preferred
Oil & Gas Domain Experience
Recognized as a knowledge leader in area of expertise
Remains at ease in ambiguous work situations and is open to change
Contributes to an environment where teams are encouraged to reach beyond themselves and connect across constituent groups
Roles & Responsibilities
Perform installation, migration and upgrade of Tableau Servers and Desktops under High Availability scenario
Perform performance analysis of existing Tableau Servers and make Best Practice recommendations
Perform day to day administration and monitoring of Tableau Servers
Configure and manage Tableau Reports Design
Provide periodic reports on Tableau Server utilization
Publish Tableau workbooks and data extracts
Configure and maintain Active Directory integration with Tableau Server
Configure and troubleshoot Single Sign On (SSO) issues for Tableau Server
Provide 2nd tier support to user community on various Tableau Server and Desktop issues
