Urgent Requirement for Data Analyst Position .
Role: Data Analyst
Location: Remote (PST zone preferred)
Project Overview:
This role will be the conduit between the Global IT Shared Services organization and the company’s Business and Group IT Functions, to connect resources, identify information gaps and assist with financial assumptions. A successful candidate will combine in-depth business and technical knowledge to provide data-driven trends and insights on our IT portfolio, manage the demand intake requests for shared services and identify opportunities for process improvement and/or automation. This role has a passion for serving others and building relationships and will work closely with Service Delivery leaders, Group IT leaders and other Business leaders.
Role Scope / Deliverables:
• Facilitate conversations with Subject Matter Experts for ideation of new solutions, demonstrations of capabilities and resolution of issues
• Provide technical knowledge around Infrastructure related requests
• Be able to analyze and prepare resulting insights around Global IT and ticket related data
• Manage the Shared Services demand intake requests to obtain the appropriate level of information for connecting resources to the required party and removing barriers
• Support adherence to IT standards and assist with MIMs
• Provide data driven analysis and insightful trends on our strategic initiatives
• Support Service Delivery to assist with collecting information for various requirements, such as CMDB, Knowledge-base articles, Site Expansions, Site Consolidations, Networking and Server needs, Compliance requirements and General performance
• Continuously improve processes and identify opportunities for automation using ML, AI and RPA
• Evangelize the use of dashboards for reporting, Planview for projects, including support projects and experiment with tools for visual analysis of work
• Create process documentation and playbooks
• Work closely with the business units to gain in-depth understanding of customer’s business strategy, processes, services, roadmap and the context in which the business operates.
Key Skills:
Essential:
• Minimum bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of experience working with technical infrastructure or application IT experience.
• 5+ years’ experience working with or leading project teams
• Must be a highly motivated team player, results driven with excellent attention to detail
• Proficient in the use of O365 tools and technologies
• Experience with data analysis and insights based on Enterprise reporting standards
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of leaders, subject matter experts, end users and champion technical concepts clearly and concisely
Desirable:
• Understanding of Networking, Servers and other Infrastructure or Infrastructure assessments
• Familiar with Plainview, Clarity, MS Project, Service Now and MS Teams applications a plus
• Experience with Cognos , SQL, SharePoint, PowerBI, Power Apps or Power Automate
• Lean Six Sigma, PPI trained, Agile Scrum, or Kanban experience
• Comfortable working with colleagues in person or remote and use of collaboration tools with offsite or offshore teams
• Financial acumen, managing budgets, facilitating cost vs. benefit discussions
• Builds trust, provides excellent customer service and maintains cooperative working relationships
• Experience of Executive level reporting and presentations .
