Job Description: The UI/UX designer development lead shall assist with AT&T ServiceNow Development, Testing, and Production environments on a variety of development projects, Quality Assurance testing ("QA"), and basic debugging and break/fix of issues. The Developer must collaborate closely with Solution Architects, Process SMEs, and Design teams to ensure work products and code deliverables align with stated project objectives and requirements. The deliverables are expected to meet high-quality standards and the Developer lead must be able to work both independently and as a productive member of a project team.The ServiceNow UX/UI designer lead must align with the Architects/Technical Design Team on the project responsible for corresponding technical designs to ensure the design is supported by the underlying vendor software. The deliverables are expected to meet high-quality standards.. The ideal candidate will understand configuration management principles. They will perform the necessary tasks to design and develop configurations and customizations for component discovery. A successful candidate will be proficient in communication with various devices to collect configuration information. Must be able to work both independently and as a productive member of a project team. The position requires the candidate to work closely with key client stakeholders and senior technology leaders. RESPONSIBILITIES: * Lead engagements as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on SNOW projects & best practices * Participate in process flow analysis and process redesign along with the Project Manager * Guide & drive design, technology, and platform decisions where appropriate * Share best practices and be consultative throughout the technical design of the project * Produce a detailed functional design document to match customer requirements * Co-team with the Technical & Solution Architects to produce a technical specification for custom development and systems integration requirements * Participate in internal projects as required * Support training and knowledge sharing initiatives where appropriate * Responsible for the technical specification and implementation of the SNOW integration * Provide expertise on technical questions related to the development of SNOW * Develop technical solutions, implement solutions, and perform component integration testing * Understand the business needs and standardization objectives, and build these into designs & coding deliverables * Leverage expert level understanding and programming skills of SNOW * Build, modify, and/or refactor functional components of code within major applications * Organize, translate, and merge code from different scripting and programming sources * Perform unit and regression testing of code for major development releases * Enhance, utilize, and/or create APIs that integrate with ServiceNow flows, solutions, & modules * Perform production code deployments on a regularly scheduled basis QUALIFICATION: * The ideal candidate must be self-motivated with a proven track record in ITSM technologies and comfortable in the dynamic atmosphere of a technical organization with a rapidly expanding customer base. * The candidate must be organized and analytical, adept at working in a team environment, able to implement on time to a project schedule, and able to handle multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment. * B.S. degree in Computer Science, MIS or equivalent preferred * Advanced experience with ServiceNow implementations * Experience with other ITSM software (BMC, Landesk, Cherwell, Heat, Axios, Client, etc.) * System integration experience using web services and other web-based technologies such as XML, HTML, AJAX, CSS, HTTP, REST/SOAP * Fundamental knowledge of networking including TCP/IP ports and firewalls, network protocols, and IP networks * Strong communication, Strong presentation, and writing skills * Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to demonstrate influence in a consultative fashion to stakeholders and other team members. * Experience with development and implementation of ServiceNow ITSM modules - Incident Management, Problem Management, Configuration Management, Change Management, Knowledge Management or other ITSM application. * Experience with extending the ServiceNow schema to custom applications * Exposure to ServiceNow platform capabilities and tools like Discovery and Orchestration and other applications like ServiceWatch, GRC etc. * Understands technical and functional design requirements related to ServiceNow. * Create and manage scripts and workflow. * Experience in one (or more) scripting languages: JavaScript, Python, Perl, Unix Shell, Windows Shell) * Experience with relational databases (e.g. MySQL, Oracle) * A fundamental understanding of ITSM, ITIL or CMDB * Experience with Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Actions, Scheduled Jobs - all scripted aspects of the ServiceNow system * Experience with ServiceNow client and server-side Javascript and the ServiceNow APIs * Scripted Web-Services, AJAX, Business Rules, JavaScript, SOAP, REST SSO-SAML Setup and Integration of ServiceNow to Other Applications * Customizing ServiceNow using UI Pages, UI Macro & CMS using CSS, HTML, Jelly. * Custom UI Changes with the usage of Web Technologies such as DOM, HTML changes. * Experience with ServiceNow's ServiceWatch and/or Discovery tools * Experience presenting and conducting demo reviews with client stakeholders
