Role UI React Developer

Location Houston, TX (Remote)

Job Description

In your role, you will develop and design web UI for portal built on React and specific UI libraries.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Build efficient, responsive UI using ReactJS. Become a subject matter expert.
  • Collaborate with the Product Managers, UX and engineers to chart your team's vision and roadmap by thoroughly understanding your customers' needs.
  • Leverage your technical expertise to constantly raise the bar and ensure consistent product delivery to delight our customers. You should participate in architecture reviews and code reviews frequently and be ultimately responsible for the delivery, scalability, stability, and security of the product.
  • Collaborate with other Engineering teams located in another geographical location to deliver and continuously improve the
  • Nurture the Product monitoring data and usage to continuously improve the product.
  • This job will require 80-90% hands on coding, debugging, testing and 10-20% project co-ordination with offshore and local teams.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • You have 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer in any technology.
  • You have 5+ years of experience in ReactJs, WebPacks, JavaScript, CSS, HTML, Bootstrap.
  • You can learn existing code quickly, debug and build new features on top.
  • You can create quick prototypes and very high-quality products at the same time.
  • Bonus if you have experience with AWS Technologies like Cloud-front, S3, EKS, Kubernetes.
  • Bonus if you have worked in a team of 5+ size.
  • You're great at coordinating with a variety of teams throughout the company
  • You excel in undefined environments and get excited about finding and building solutions to complex technical problems
  • You enjoy coming up with pragmatic solutions to concrete problems
  • You love to collaborate with others.
