Primary Skill Set :

·        Demonstrable history of delivering software reliably and on time and budget    

·        Experience developing and deploying to cloud environments such as AWS    

·        Strong knowledge of standard software patterns and best practices

·        Strong understanding of front-end technologies (language and framework non-specific, although JavaScript and React are a plus)

·        Experience architecting and building medium to large web applications

·        Experience collaborating closely with product owners and back-end developers to deliver value to our customers and users

·        A passion and proficiency in user experience and web design

Roles and Responsibilities :

As a Frontend Software Engineer, you understand the delicate balance between delivering features of reasonable quality versus budget and time. As such, you scope work and manage your time extremely well to deliver high quality software reliably on schedule. You understand progress over perfection in the industry.

You will quickly bring yourself up to speed with the codebase under mentorship of a senior team member. You’ll likely start by fixing defects across the platform to gain exposure to the breadth of the codebase. As you grow, you will progressively shoulder more responsibility, eventually leading feature teams and serving as a technical leader and SME. 

Engineers of all levels will be responsible for assisting with production issues from time to time that require immediate assistance while balancing the work required for our product and engineering roadmaps. You’ll be expected to help us improve our continuous delivery, working against a strict release cycle.
