Job Description :
Position: Thycotic Security Engineer
Location: Enon, OH
Duration: 6 month contract/option to hire
Interview mode: Phone, Video

*Role will be onsite after all COVID bans within the company are lifted, but initial onboarding/work looks remote*

Candidates need to have experience in implementing all aspects of Thycotic, that would include, but not be limited to, the Distributed Engine and Rabbit MQ.
IT Security Specialist

Job Overview: Develops and manages procedures and guidelines to effectively protect the Company’s infrastructure and network; ensures development, analysis and execution of new technologies are completed securely.

Eligibility Requirements: CISSP, Network+, Security+ or other relevant IT Security certifications or willing to work towards one

Education Level: IT related bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

Experience Desired: Five to ten years in an IT related field

Other Skills:

· Outstanding knowledge regarding system and network security measures

· Outstanding troubleshooting skills in the event a security breach is detected

· Excellent analytical skills and the ability to develop organizational strategies based on systems development life cycle

· Demonstrated expertise with Word, Excel, and other MS Office suite applications

· Excellent communication skills and the ability to research and resolve issues

· Excellent understanding of intra-department functions and operations

· Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and track multiple efforts concurrently

· Ability to perform repeated bending, standing, and reaching

· Ability to occasionally lift up to 40 pounds

Job Responsibilities:

· Facilitates the Speedway Network and External Data Hosting Risk Assessment processes

· Designs, develops and implements various information system compliance and security processes that either enhance or replace existing architecture; provides ongoing support and development once established

· Collaborates with internal and external partners to ensure that the MPC/Speedway Enterprise Network is safe from cyber threats and attacks; monitors and identifies emerging technology threats, viruses and malware

· Monitors for security violations and inefficiencies by conducting periodic assessments. Resolves findings as they arise

· Performs Threat Analysis, Risk and Vulnerability assessments. Develops remediation and mitigation strategies based on vendor recommendations and industry best practices

· Reviews architectural design, security compliance and data classification requirements for project teams

· Liaises with various Speedway departments and Marathon Petroleum Corporation on Speedway IT Security matters

· Provides Subject Matter Expertise and consultation regarding IT security

· Keeps abreast of technology, industry related trends and changes to security laws and regulations

· Provides and demonstrates expertise by participating and presenting at meetings

· Completes other duties, including special projects, as assigned by Management
