Job Description :
Job Title: Test Automation Engineer
Duration: 6 month CTH
Location: Mountain View, CA


Job Requirements:

Must haves (you can turn these into questions and filter out candidates)
- min 2+ years of Java and/or JavaScript coding experience
- min 2+ years of API automation experience (knowing how to parse JSON responses and create assertions on those)
- min 2+ years of UI automation experience (Page Object Model, Selenium WebDriver)
- Must be able to write a fully working program on-demand (pseudo code is NOT enough/ability to write full code – from scratch)
- Must have a good understanding of basic data structures
- Ability to communicate clearly and confidently (no long pauses, stuttering and stammering etc. unless the candidate has a natural condition)
- Must have some basic knowledge about server performance


Negatives (leading to immediate rejection) – what manager do not want to see
- Frequent job hopping ( 1 year)
- No prior experience at a reputed company
- No mentions of API automation, UI automation in the resume (“automation” being the key word)
- No mention of “cloud” in the resume
- Badly formatted resume
- Resume longer than 3 pages
