Role: Technical Project manager w Health Plan/Health Insurance industry

NOTE: Health plan/insurance plan experience is highly preferred.
IT Project Manager to manage complex IT projects and/or programs that are critical to the health plan’s success. There are multiple projects that require an IT Project Manager resource, which includes, but is not limited to the implementation of health plan programs and/or systems.
Required Skills & Abilities:
• Ability to lead multiple, complex project implementations through all phases in the project lifecycle.
• Strong operational health plan/managed care knowledge and experience.
• Proficiency in SDLC, waterfall, and agile project methodologies.
• Experience with stakeholder engagement and vendor management.
• Proven experience developing and managing project plans and documentation (charter, requirements, issue logs, and change and risk registers, etc.).
Experience Requirements:
• At least 5 years IT project management experience. • Health plan or managed care experience desired.
Certifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration or a closely related field.
• Possession of a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification desired.
