Job Description :
Responsibilities:
· Work with the Data Science Development team and stakeholders to help develop and evolve the overall product vision and prioritize product requirements
· Be an expert in all aspects of Data Science products so that you can help your team make smart decisions, communicate externally and educate others
· Collaborate with architects and business to find innovative and creative ways to solve customer problems
· Manage and refine the product backlog, write user stories and perform release planning
· Act as the voice of the customer in the design and development of telematics cloud software data science products.
· Work across multiple customers to determine common requirements, synthesize and document them
· Continuous ideation with the business and technical teams about upcoming opportunities and enhancements that will create additional value
· Articulate business and customer value to development team and use it to guide iterative development
· Perform user experience testing and create ways to continuously gather feedback to incorporated into the product
· Work closely with development team, Scrum Master and participate and lead Scrum meetings
· Use Agile principles to align teams with effective communication and transparency
· Adapt to changing priorities and account for necessary adjustments
· Learn and follow market trends in the connected automotive space
Qualifications:
· You have 8+ years of Product Management experience building and launching high-tech consumer facing software products
· You are a creative problem solver with the ability to think innovatively
· You have experience developing and managing a product roadmap
· You have experience working with Data Scientists on projects that are R&D focused using ML/AI
· You have hands on experience creating user stories with a development team
· You have experience working in a fast paced Agile/Scrum environment
· You understand the principles of user centered design
· You’ve worked with product designers and are passionate about great user experiences
· You are able to choose the right research or validation technique to learn about the desired experience, test assumptions and address risks
· You want to make things work. Coming up with creative solutions comes naturally to you and you’re comfortable being set loose without a lot of direction
· You are comfortable rolling up your sleeves and getting your hands dirty
· You’re strong communicator, confident in expressing your point of view from a position of knowledge and experience
· You’re also receptive to feedback and open to revising your plans when appropriate
· We think the knowledge acquired earning a degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or Entrepreneurship would be of great value in this position, but if you’re smart and have the experience that backs up your abilities, for us, talent trumps degree every time
