Job Title: Technical Lead-Platform Integration
Remote until COVID lifts, then must be local to Troy, MI
6 months+

Description of Skills & Responsibilities:
Exciting opportunity for a Contract IT Technical Lead to join at the ground floor of an enterprise class IT project that will replace the Commercial lending platform. This creative and energetic team will drive business and technology transformation to deliver next generation Commercial lending capabilities. The Team is being mobilized to participate at the beginning of the planning phase and will contribute through requirements, design, build, test and deployment phases.

REQUIRED SKILLS

7 years of experience working on large scale Enterprise IT projects in Technical roles and software development
Experience leading technical workstreams that integrate IT systems via batch processing and real-time API’s with external services
Proven understanding of web service APIs (REST, SOAP) and XML
Ability to create scripts in Powershell, Python, Perl or other language
Experienced in data modeling, entity relationship diagrams
Authoring of structured query language (SQL) scripts
Strong ability to think through workflows and the characteristics that make each workflow different to re-engineer processes for efficiency
Strong experience with software development methodologies such as Agile, SCRUM, Waterfall
Data Warehouse integration, data mapping and design for batch interfaces via ETL
Understanding of testing concepts through the software development lifecycle (unit, performance, regression) and capability to write test cases and test plans
Excellent communicator - Ability to communicate verbally and in technical writing to all levels of the organization in a proactive, contextually appropriate manner
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Execute root cause analysis of systems and data issues
Excellent organizational skills
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field

DESIRED SKILLS

Experience in Financial services industry and Commercial lending domain
Experience with AFS level III is a plus
Experience with JIRA
