Systems Administrator 3-6 month contract Findlay, Ohio(Remote) Responsibilities: Assist in moving the project along schedule Assist in the execution of infrastructure maintenance plans including, firmware, code, and patch activities across the storage infrastructure; aligned to the change management policies. Provide support of the enterprise infrastructure (block/file) environment, to include coordinating all infrastructure related request and changes. Administration for the critical infrastructure management systems, ensuring all assets are monitoring for critical events and errors. Investigates and perform root cause analysis on production infrastructure issues and recommend short and long-term remediation activities. Perform SAN operations, server masking, zoning, and multi-pathing data paths for system redundancy. Responsible for planning and developing system procedures to streamline operational activities. Provide performance tuning, troubleshooting and event analysis Perform comprehensive technical, network and operational documentation (network diagrams, technical procedures, etc. Strong knowledge of Multi-tier architectures: load balancers, caching, web servers, application servers and databases. Project Description: Allows for additional resource support for operational reliability. Provide support and operational reliability of the company's infrastructure environment in order for business units to achieve their goals. Required Skills Project management skills Microsoft Windows Operating Systems and Domains Server Support Experience & Strong Knowledge of VMware Strong Storage Experience to include NetApp and EMC array platforms VMware Experience HP DL Server and Cisco SAN hardware support experience. Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong presentation and troubleshooting skills. Positive attitude, ability to work in under stress Strong time management skills. Works within established procedures with a moderate degree of supervision. Strong knowledge of current systems software, protocols, and standards, including firewalls, Active Directory, etc. Strong system administration (Linux/Unix or Windows) Strong knowledge of / with running, maintaining and troubleshooting scripting solutions (PowerShell, Puppet, Chef, etc Strong knowledge of network administration and virtual private cloud configurations. Strong understanding of application and workload deployment within the cloud, ensure system, resource and consumption-based monitoring. Strong understanding of VMware vSphere virtual server systems Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong presentation skills. Preferred/Like to Have Skills Proficient in Microsoft Windows Operating Systems 2016, 2012, 2008 vCenter 6.0, 6.5 (management of virtual environment monitoring, server deployment, etc) Proficient in deploying HP DL server hardware. Ability to physically install server and switch hardware in Data Center class racks. Required Skills : VMWARE, Server Support, Windows Admin exp, Project completion experience
