Job Description 

  • Manage help desk requests and ticket follow-ups: Assign incoming tickets to correct resource and ensure tickets are being handled in a timely manner. 
  • Manage phone and network infrastructure: Responsible for day-to-day operation of phone and networking infrastructure including call changes, user changes, backups, and troubleshooting. 
  • Manage telco engagements: Maintain task list for new circuits and shepherd trouble tickets through to resolution. 
  • Account Management: Responsible for account set ups, changes, and deletions in Active Directory, Dynamics AX, O365, and any other system. 
  • MSSQL: Responsible for performance and backup monitoring, minor engine changes, and SSRS management. 
  • Server Support: Responsible for upgrading/migrating legacy servers to current OS. 
  • Procurement: Identify acceptable hardware purchases and assist business with purchasing monitors/printers/etc. Maintain relationship with vendors. 
  • ERP support: Maintain Dynamics AX infrastructure and manage AX partner’s helpdesk and project engagements 
  • Disaster recovery planning: Assist in creation and testing of Disaster Recovery plan. 
  • Cloud Migration: Plan and execute migrating servers to the Azure cloud.
