Title : Systems Data Architect
Location : Fort Belvoir, VA
Duration : Long Term Contract
Active Secret Clearance or higher
We are looking for an individual that has 10+ years of Systems Data Architecture technology experience.
Must be able to work at client location at Fort Belvoir, VA (some telework may be authorized).
Job Duties:
- Build Data Analytics enterprise models using the Microsoft technologies.
- Develop tabular, multidimensional models.
- Develop self-service models, data analytics.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure platform and service (Power BI, Flow, Cortana etc.)
- Experience working with data gateway, data integration, self-service data preparation.
- Develop, publish, schedule reports and dashboards to meet business requirements.
- Assist business users on functional and data requirements to enhance data models.
- Experience in requirement analysis, design and prototyping.
- Interprets requirements, performs analyses and develops technical solutions to obtain desired results.
- Strong understanding of Data Analytics application security layer models.
- Communicates plans, status, and issues with project management.
Qualifications:
- Active Secret Clearance or higher.
- BS in computer science, information system or equivalent working experience and 10 years of related experience.
- Experience with Microsoft Power BI Development in an Office 365 (O365) environment.
- Background in writing SQL, Java Script, CSS and other java script libraries.
- Background in database, data modeling, data warehouse and/ or data exchange/ interface experience.
- Experience with machine learning, data analytics, data science, statistics and/ or graphical visual representation of data.
- Experience in Federal Government financial management and/ or accounting.
- Experience with Microsoft Project Online, Excel, Teams, Power Platform, SharePoint online and Azure.
- Experience using Agile methodology.
- Good professional, interpersonal and communication skills to directly interact with a wide range of customers (including senior military and civilian leaders), users and technical staff.
- Capacity for creativity and problem solving in a self-directed environment.
- The candidate is expected to apply knowledge of systems, data and customer requirements to deliver tangible alternative solutions with little advanced external input.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment with a strong focus on customer service and solution ownership.
