Title: Symantec Endpoint Administrator Duration: 1 Year + Location: Detroit, Michigan Job Description Strong skills as a Symantec Endpoint Administrator, Strong technical troubleshooting and Strong Communication. The person would need to upgrade the software across multiple servers and clients Responsibilities Include: Conduct requirements analysis and solution architecture for integrated network, data and personal computer solutions. Manage Enterprise instance of Symantec Endpoint Protection and DSC Provide Symantec SEP and DCS subject matter expertise Provide Symantec DLP subject matter expertise Stabilize and optimize DLP system performance, including rules and reports Assist with SEP and DLP component upgrades, installs, testing and configuration Manage Data Loss Prevention platforms for, but not limited to, email, network, host, file shares, and databases Skill Matrix: (Need no. of years on each skills listed below) Related IT Experience without degree Bachelor Degree MIS CIS or Relevant Science (required) Symantec Endpoint Protection (Enterprise) (4 years required) Symantec SEP and DCS (4 years required) Symantec Data Loss Suite (4 years required) Experience Administering, supporting or consulting on Symantec SEP in an enterprise customer environment (4 years required) Strong technical knowledge of DLP architecture, system polices, rules, etc. (4 years required) Familiarity with security/monitoring tools such as QRadar and/or Tripwire (3 years required) Ability to write technical documentation and briefings Excellent oral and written communication skills
