Job Description :
Job Title: Storage Engineer
Duration: 6- 12 months (extension likely)
Role: Network Systems Admin/Engineer
Skill: Network Hardware/Software (NetApp, IBM v7000, Dell EMC)
Work Location: Detroit, MI
Required:
· Excellent time management, communication and interpersonal skills
· Analytical skills and creative thinking
· Knowledge of disaster recovery planning and design
· Experience with NetApp, IBM V7000 and EMC VNX
· Knowledge of Cisco MDS switches as well as NX-OS and SAN networking fundamentals
· Knowledge of PowerShell, Python or a similar scripting language
· Primary skills include hands-on experience using the following technologies:
· NetApp AFF/FAS Series Arrays
· IBM SVC, V7000
· EMC Isilon
· FS900; EMC VNX
· EMC ECS
· Secondary skills include hands-on experience using any of the following technologies:
· SAN and NAS hardware and protocols
· Violin Memory Array
· AVAMAR tapeless backup
· VMware ESXi 6.x
· NVME
· AWS
Desired:
Working knowledge of network file systems and concepts, including CIFS and NFS
