Project Intro:

CVMS is a secure, cloud-based system that enables vaccine management and data sharing across recipients, care providers, hospitals, agencies, and local, state, and federal governments on one common platform. Through CVMS, North Carolina health care providers are able to:

•          Enroll in the COVID-19 Vaccine Program

•          Manage COVID-19 vaccine inventory

•          Track COVID-19 vaccine administration

•          Invite their employees to register for vaccination

•          Schedule appointments

Job Title / Description:

The NC DHHS is looking for a Senior Software Test Lead with working knowledge of software and test design, with the capability to quickly learn application functionality to assist with testing the backlog of change requests and system enhancements. The Software Test Lead must have excellent communication skills in order to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders and gain understanding of the CVMS software. The Software Test Lead will be responsible for designing test scripts and test case scenarios, as well as use pre-developed test scripts. The Software Test Lead will be responsible for all testing to include user acceptance, regression, Data conversion, and end-to-end tests to ensure software usability. The Software Tester will conduct tests, analyze the results, and report observations. The Software Test Lead will attend requirements development meetings, design and development meetings, and will provide input on software design and potential issues. The Software Test Lead will review and provide input on CVMS technical documentation and will interact hands-on within the CVMS system performing tasks to gain understanding of the functionality of the software. The Software Test Lead will create strategies for testing software and will be responsible for ensuring that software meets all business, functional and system requirements, program standards and Test Plan requirements before identifying it as ready for implementation.

b.         Sr Test Lead Job Duties(including, but not limited to):

•          Developing and maintaining user and technical documentation and project process documentation for Application Teams

•          Creating and reviewing test plans for a range of applications

•          Understanding end user use case for applications and/or technology and sequencing test procedures logically and appropriately

•          Executing test scripts, both manual and automated

•          Documentation of test and quality results, and communication to the appropriate stakeholders in the governance structure

•          Participate in all testing phases, including functional, system, integration and user acceptance (UAT)

•          Contributes consistently to the development of technical solutions throughout the solution delivery center

•          Works directly with the client engagement and delivery center leadership teams on executing the Engagement Management Framework

•          Leads team meetings (e.g., status meetings defect triage meetings etc..)

•          Is prepared when dealing with clients; takes responsibility for meeting client needs.

•          Provides detailed review of team’s work product (i.e., associates and analysts)

•          Plays an active role in the development of technical solutions within one or more work streams

•          Easily understands technical issues, gets up to speed quickly and is solution-oriented

•          Demonstrates ability to evaluate and coach junior resources on delivery of work product

•          Contributes leading-practice knowledge (project deliverables, work plans, proposals, credentials, etc.)

•          Takes proactive lead on assigned deliverables; is able to anticipate next steps on a project or deliverable

•          Takes ownership of work and client engagement assignments and drives activity to meet requirements

•          Create regression test cases for business process flows

•          Perform thorough analysis of requirements specifications and design documents using structured techniques to identify testable conditions

•          Responsible for QA delivery of test scenarios, scripts and execution results

•          Produces high-quality deliverables with no supervision

•          Create test data files with valid and invalid records to thoroughly test program logic and verify system flow

•          Conduct tests and undertake analysis of results to ensure that software meets or exceeds specified standards and/or client requirements

•          Support Senior QA Manager in upward stakeholder management and day-to-day management of the testing organization

•          Minimum 5 years of Quality assurance and testing methodologies experience (Waterfall, Agile etc.)

•          Proficient with Quality Centre/ALM/ JIRA

•          Experience with Functional, UAT, & Mobile testing
