Position: Sr Program Manager (Fulltime)

Location: Columbus, OH (Candidate need to be onsite from day 1)

Responsibilities

  1. Manage a large diverse cross functional team working for different product groups.
  2. Work with engineering and product teams to estimate work efforts, define milestones and conduct capacity planning.
  3. Ensure the projects and tasks are delivered on time and consistently exceed stakeholder expectations
  4. Measure and track project performance using data and report to the leadership team.
  5. Manage escalations, provide the required support to quickly close the critical issues and communicate status to the project stakeholders and interested parties.
  6. Create and maintain project documentation.
  7. Implement continuous improvements on all project activities and the project management process. Consistently inspect and improve product quality.

Skills and Background

  1. Exceptional organizational skills to manage large number of high priority tasks simultaneously, while focusing on the project goal.
  2. Strong technical, business and analytical skills with the ability to use data to drive decisions and define priorities.
  3. Solid understanding and experience working in Scrum/Kanban frameworks.
  4. Sound knowledge on technical implementation at the high level architecture level and the ability to contribute to design discussions. Good understanding of Software Development, Databases and Cloud Computing
  5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a very high emotional intelligence.
  6. 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager working for medium to large scale project delivery.
  7. Undergraduate degree in a related field required. 

 Preferred Qualifications

  1. Advanced degree in a related field.
  2. Project Management or Agile related certifications (PMP, CSM, PSM, etc.).
  3. Experience working in the Banking and Financial Services Field
