Role: Sr Network Engineer

Location: Egg Harbor Township, NJ

Job type: Full Time

Minimum qualifications:

Expertise understanding of Cisco Routing, including OSPF, EIGRP & BGP routing protocols
Analytical and problem-solving skills
Good understanding of Cisco Enterprise Campus and Data Center Switching, including Catalyst Switch platforms
Experience in managing and overseeing design and support WAN & LAN connectivity to multiple data centres and campuses
Excellent documentation skills, including experience writing implementation plans, design justifications and Visio network diagrams
Experience leading extensive troubleshooting and resolving complex network issue
Experience with National Airspace Systems and large-scale environments
Time management, priority allocation and task management skills
Interpersonal skills to interact with customers and team members
Has full technical knowledge of all phases of network operations
Ability to follow processes
Ability to travel when required

Job Description:

Establishes and maintains network performance
Builds net configurations and connections
Troubleshoots network problems monitoring network performance and ensuring reliability and availability
IP address auditing
Establishes networking environment by designing system configuration and directing system installation
Defines, documents, and enforces system standards
Maximizes performance by troubleshooting network problems and outages and scheduling upgrades
Configures routers and upgrading network equipment with the latest stable firmware releases
Secures network system by establishing and enforcing policies and defining and monitoring access
Provide technical support and assistance to customers and employees when needed
Replace faulty network hardware components when required
Suggesting improvements to network capacity, performance, and scalability
