Role: GDT – Sr. Linux Administrator
Austin, TX
we are looking for a Linux Administrator resource with experience setting up in Big data Hadoop environment.
Responsibilities:
Sr. Linux Administrator – Red Hat preferred
Scripting – Bash required
Experience in Splunk for generating reports and troubleshooting.
Strong understanding of network design and trouble shooting abilities.
Experience in setting Big Data Hadoop Environment.
Liaise with Systems Administrators, UNIX, Network and DBAs, scheduling and implementing software patches and upgrades
8+ years of database design and administration experience
4+ years of experience in Linux administration
Good knowledge on Unix/Linux shell scripting
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
