Position: Sr./ Lead Salesforce Developer

Location: San Jose. CA

 

Job Description: 

Responsibilities:

•  Be the trusted advisor to our stakeholders by providing technical expertise, analysis and recommendations on how to best utilize Salesforce to deliver solutions that support the IT roadmap.

•  Provide hands on design leadership in large or complex development projects involving application development, migrations, integrations and enhancements to existing applications.

•  Create comprehensive solution/architecture designs and roadmaps - completing proof-of-concepts as necessary to confirm ideas and approach in support of current and new projects

•  Support assessment of cross-functional business processes; identify alternative solutions, assess feasibility and recommend new approaches via technology enablement.

•  Collaborate with other technology teams/team leads to identify optimal solutions that align system/architecture roadmaps to product goals and data strategy. Lead solution scoping and effort sizing with cross-functional teams. Communicate and manage expectations across all stakeholder teams.

•  Develop and author technical business solutions, product presentations and demonstrations.

 

Skill Set:

•  At least 10yrs of exp. designing solutions for a Salesforce platform

•  Prior working exp. as a Salesforce Architect or similar capacity in an enterprise environment is required.

•  Strong Salesforce implementation and full lifecycle enterprise software project exp.

•  Proven ability to build, manage and foster a team-oriented environment.

•  Excellent leadership, communication and management skills

•  Design exp. with Force.com Apex Classes, Apex Triggers, Batch Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visual Force (VF Pages), Integration (REST, SOAP, Change Data Capture, Platform Events), Force.com API, SOQL and SOSL.

•  Salesforce data migration exp. with native tools such as Data Loader and 3rd party tools (Informatica, MuleSoft, etc.)

•  Must be able to work with various partners to understand business requirements, challenges and collaborate to identify scalable and robust solutions

•  Must be able to lead platform migrations and rationalization initiatives

•  Familiarity with JavaScript (Node) & REST APIs

•  Exposure to SQL and BI Tools (Einstein Analytics, Tableau,  Snowflake etc)

•  Ability to organize work with little day-­to-­day direction

•  Track record of flexibility in response to changing circumstances

•  A good team player with excellent English verbal and written skills along with a strong commercial focus

•  Proven ability to manage multiple priorities while paying strict attention to detail
