Job Description :
Role: SrJava Engineer
Location: Lehi, UT
Type: Contract
JD:
- Strong Java 8 development development skills & experience
- Experience building applications with the Spring Framework & Spring Boot
- Experience building & using REST APIs
- Knowledge of Git/GitHub and related processes
- Knowledge of automated build / deployment tools such as Maven, Gradle and Jenkins
- Experience working in a geographically distributed team
- Knowledge of AWS technologies, including DynamoDB, S3, EC2
Additional considerations:
- Experience with data streaming technologies (e.g. Apache Kafka)
- Experience working in an Agile Scrum team
- Knowledge of JIRA
- Excellent communication / presentation skills
- Ability to work independently with little direction, strong attention to detail
- Effective documentation and ability to share knowledge with the team
