Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education
• At least 4 years of Information Technology experience
• At least 4 years of experience in Microsoft SQL server administration (MS SQL Server 2008, 2012, 2014, 2016 & 2017)
• Conduct SQL server installation, configuration & patching
• Perform SQL server upgrade, migration & patching
• Complete Azure Cloud Migrations
• Configure high availability features such as: Always On, Clustering, Database mirroring & log shipping
• Conduct troubleshooting, query & database performance tuning
• Working Knowledge of:
Ø SQL Server Audit & Security
Ø Backup and Restore
Ø SQL agent jobs
Ø SSIS & SSRS
Ø Monitoring tools such as: SCOM, Idera, and AppD
Ø SQL & PowerShell scripting for automation is added advantage.
Ø ITIL process, Change management, Incident management and Problem Management.
