li>8+ years of experience as MySQL DBA/Engineer including application design expertise related to high performance OLTP applications and security design/li>
li>2+ years of experience managing production MySQL instances in AWS./li>
/ul>

ul>
li>Hands on experience configuring MySQL replication, MySQL utilities and tools, debugging issues related to MySQL Experience managing MySQL instances on Linux environment is a must/li>
li>Excellent hands-on experience with MySQL installation and configuration is a must for this role/li>
li>Experience in supporting web based, highly available, mission critical applications including logical and physical database design, SDLC support, performance tuning, deployment automation and monitoring./li>
li>Experience reviewing, designing and developing data models in conjunction with the application development teams/li>
li>Experience and/or working knowledge of scripting languages like Perl, Python or similar/li>
li>Experience implementing comprehensive solutions for database health monitoring and alerting/li>
li>Experience with large scale data migration and master-master replication using MySQL/li>
li>Prior experience in migrating MySQL databases from private datacenter to public cloud with near zero downtime is a big plus/li>
li>Strong project management skills; able to take a goal from start to finish with little supervision/li>
