Title: Application Solution Architect
Location: 3712 Jackson Ave, Austin, TX 78731
Duration: 12 Months with possible extension

Note: Remote allowed until COVID-19 situation settles. If the resource is in Austin area, current requirement is to be in the office a minimum of once a week.
DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES:
Responsible for translating the client's business requirements into specific systems, applications or process designs with interlocked financial modeling for very large complex technical solutions. Analyzes customer service requirements and designs service solutions to meet those objectives. Primary expert to construct the specific solution, scope document, risk profile, and corresponding financials. Maintains and utilizes detailed industry and internal services knowledge in the construction of industry-leading services solutions, including expert working level knowledge of the processes, technologies, and people components involved in the services arena. As needed, provide a "trusted expert advisor" role as a Subject Matter Expert for technical services, to both internal and external customers, ranging from formal advice to internal and external customer presentations. Extensive leadership to provide technical direction for enterprise solutions.
Act as lead for other project architects to champion the solution architecture function and facilitate the delivery of solutions with guidance and regular checkpoints. Develops high level architecture for initiatives in the pipeline. Collaborates with other technical architects to ensure relevant technical strategies, policies, standards and practices are applied correctly across technology programs/projects and products. Contributes to the development of architecture governance structures, methodologies and compliance activities.
WORKER SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Years Skills/Experience
8+ Providing technical architecture solutions utilizing a variety of technologies
8+ Experience translating the client's business requirements into specific systems, applications or process designs with interlocked financial modeling for very large complex technical hybrid and cloud-native solutions.
4+ Experience with cloud-based solutions, application authentication & authorization design, experience designing solutions with security requirements in mind.
4+ Experience with designing solutions to interface with for Software as a service, Custom off the shelf and internal application development-based systems.
7+ Standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a solution architecture development. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Works under limited supervision with considerable latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment. Performs deep analysis of systems and the interactions and defines the most efficient solutions for the interaction between the systems.
