We are looking for a Software Engineer to support the Airborne Warning and Control System (AWACS) software development efforts for the NATO Final Lifetime Extension Program (FLEP) in Oklahoma City, OK. The selected candidate will be responsible for developing software focused on AWACS mission subsystem functions (e.g. mission computing system, radar, etc. Key Duties: Develop code, unit tests, and support the completion of the Tier 3 test cycle and other related activities in support of NATO FLEP requirements. Review, develop, and finalize software code and unit test and software test procedures. Conduct software unit test and support software test dry runs. Complete software development stories, write, update, and validate problem reports, and software test reports. Provide status for software code and unit test accomplishments and weekly development of program metrics. Update software code and unit test for mission computing software. Provide initial updated code and unit tests, final code, and unit tests. Provide briefings, metrics, and analysis of software to support the Mission Computing Software Team. Participate in Software Agile team meetings as needed to support the Mission Computing Software Team. Required Skills, Experience, and Education: Due to facility security requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for consideration at this time. Active United States Government Secret Security Clearance. 5 or more years of software development experience. Experience coding in Ada. Experience coding Direct Link Interface (DLI Desired Skills, Experience, and Education: Experience with Multifunctional Information Distribution System/Joint Tactical Radio System (MIDS/JTRS 8 or more years of software development experience. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
