We are looking for a Software Engineer to support the Airborne Warning and Control System (AWACS) Mission Computing Upgrade (MCU) in Oklahoma City, OK. Key Duties: Provide software engineering expertise to develop Mission Computing Applications and problem report resolution. This will include potential support of operation flight software such as Human Computer Interface, Display, Data Link, Battle Management, Communications, System Health Monitoring and Management, Multi-Sensor Integration. Provide input and development support for reports and documents as required by the Buyer's Technical Representative. Participate in weekly program reviews to establish task priorities. Engineering products as requested by the Buyer's Technical Representative. Required Skills, Experience, and Education: Due to facility security requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for consideration at this time. Ability to travel, as needed. Active Secret Clearance. Experience with software programming languages, such as C/C++, C#, and/or Java using compilers. Knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC Expertise in software problem reporting, troubleshooting, corrections, and maintenance. Experience with Microsoft Windows Desktop and Server, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, LDAP, and NFS. Experience with Software Licensing tools and technologies (e.g. Microsoft licensing, FlexLM), IBM Key Lifecycle Management, VMware. Previous work experience supporting the installation, configuration, setup, and troubleshooting of applications within a classified lab environment. Ability to perform code and unit testing. Bachelor of Science in Software Engineering or related degree. Desired Skills, Experience, and Education: 5 or more years of experience with AWACS software systems.
