Job Description :

Job Title:Software Architect/Developer

Location:Philadelphia, PA - Onsite Day One

Duration: 12 Months Contract

Job Description:

Translate solution requirements to technical requirement and architectural/system specifications
Architect, design, develop, and test end to end software solutions on network and service data collection, database engineering, and web tools
Work as an individual contributor to develop solution frameworks and software features/capabilities, and perform code reviews
Integrate software components/projects from various communities
Leverage/Refine the existing CICD framework and Build and package software releases an agile CICD fashion
Perform testing of features/capabilities, with the objective of hardening the overall solution stack
Participate and play technical leadership role in appropriate scrum teams
Align with scrum team masters on feature requirements, backlogs, deliveries, timelines
Play a lead role in facilitating architecture meetings and discussions to define the overall architecture

Qualifications:

Bachelors or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related technical field desired
Experienced in CI/CD industry standard tools for source control, branching and merging, build automation, deployment, patching and testing

Desired Software Skills: Agile developer, Design solutions, Distributed storage and processing, Software design for SDN, API Communication Protocols (REST, JAVA7/8), J2EE – Spring MVC, JSP, Application server, Web Services, HTML/CSS, Java scripts based UI frameworks, jQuery, JAVA IDE, IntelliJ IDEA, Maven, CVS/SVN, Git/Gerrit, ORM, Relational & Non-Relational Databases, Open Source JAVA based frameworks, Micro-services.
