Job Title: Snowflake - Consultant

Location: Remote.

About the Role

  • Minimum 12 years experience.
  • Analyze and understand existing on-prem Data Ingestion architecture; limitations; areas for cloud-based optimization.
  • Develop the ingestion processes of new and existing third-party datasets into Snowflake.  Some of this data may already be ingested into an existing SQL Server-based DW.
  • Identify and address any differences between data models of the new data, and data models in similar and existing DW data
  • Understand existing data ingestion routines in SSIS and SQL Server identify areas of limitation/improvement.  Some of these may need to be replicated/rebuilt/rearchitected in Snowflake and other AWS tools.
  • Ability to utilize AWS services where needed to optimize the data ingestion architecture

Skills :-

  • Snowflake – 5  years plus working with snowflake development building medium to high complex data processes.
  • AWS – working knowledge of AWS.  Customer uses Transfer Family, Sage Maker, Lamda, S3
  • Strong SQL skill, python skill
  • Nice to have skill. An existing team on the account can provide insight as need here.
  • Good understanding of SSIS ETL process.
  • Good understanding of MDM process.
