Cloud, AWS Scalable Solutions Senior Engineer
Responsibilities:
ul>
li>As a member of our team, you39;ll be responsible for building a cloud-scale data analytics platform and contribute to other elements of our service:/li>
li>Must be a team player and a leader who understands the importance of teamwork, collaboration, and open communication/li>
li>Must possess strong analytical and technical documentation skills/li>
li>Must possess ability to effectively present information and respond to questions/li>
li>Experience with distributed systems or a large enterprise background/li>

Qualified candidates must demonstrate:
ul>
li>5+ years of experience with an object oriented programming language/li>
li>Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, Azure, OCI, OpenStack or other public or private cloud environments/li>
li>Experience developing and deploying modern, secure, cloud-based, big-data applications/li>
li>Must have the ability to build out Scalable Solutions in Java and/or Scala/li>
li>Great understanding working with Presto and Kubernetes/li>
li>Solid knowledge and experience with the Linux (CentOS) operating system/li>
li>Capable and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment/li>
li>An excellent understanding and hands-on experience with design and development best practices/li>
li>Exceptional candidates will also be able to demonstrate many of the following:/li>
li>Experience with Presto, Cassandra, Hive, Spark or similar big-data processing solutions/li>
li>Experience with container and orchestration tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, Terraform/li>
li>Hands on knowledge on virtualized platforms like Nutanix/li>
li>Experience with micro-services architecture and continuous delivery methodologies/li>
li>Experience identifying operational issues and recommending and implementing strategies to resolve problems/li>
li>Experience building distributed systems, leveraging RESTful and micro-services principles and focusing on performance considerations/li>
li>Networking infrastructure (TCP/IP, DNS, network protocols, routing)/li>
li>BS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience/li>
