Site reliability engineer lead {SRE}

Remote

  • Troubleshoot production issues, provide recommendation and help with remediation.
  • Deep knowledge of application monitoring, including Logs, Traces and Metrics.
  • Demonstrate the capability to monitor and debug SAP platforms and application using industry first tools/technologies.
  • Experienced in applying AI/ML in operations for pattern detection and standard deviation.
  • Commitment to collaborate with developers and subject matter experts to establish the technical vision and analyze tradeoffs between usability and performance needs.
  • Passion for being the liaison between business units, technology teams and support teams.
  • Demonstrate the capability to communicate and document system changes.
  • Experience, interest, and adaptability to working in a Lean Scaled Agile delivery environment.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with management, technical peers, and business stakeholders.

Additional Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or other relevant area
  • 8+ years of professional experience in Software development
  • 2+ years of experience supporting large scale SAP deployments, preferably in Supply Chain Domain.
  • Proficient in one of the coding languages like Java, Node, Python
  • Experience supporting applications in distributed/cloud-based environment (e.g. Azure preferred).
  • Hand on experience with instrumenting code to add telemetry data.
  • Exposure to relational data stores like MySQL and Oracle.
  • Good knowledge of monitoring and tracing tools like Splunk and New Relic.
  • Experience in Supply Chain domain areas like Inventory Forecasting and Management, Multi-node Inventory optimization, Order management & Revenue recognition etc.
  • Exposure to AWS or AZURE cloud.
  • Basic knowledge of ABAP and SAP Basis is good to have.
