Job Title: Digital Manufacturing Site Leader
Job Description:
The Digital Manufacturing Site Leader will work, with business personnel, to drive designs of effective manufacturing solutions integrating new technologies and platforms. The Site Leader will analyze and implement solutions that accelerate business transformation and growth. The Site Leader will develop digital manufacturing solutions that are secure and scalable across manufacturing facilities. The Site Leader will investigate and resolve complex system issues as part of the factory continuous improvement process. The Site Leader will assist system users in solving day to day issues and provide training as needed. The Site Leader will lead development contractors as needed to complete Digital Manufacturing System designs
Job Roles & Responsibilities
Job Requirements:
1) Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
2) Business experience and responsibilities
· 5+ years of experience in large manufacturing operations.
· Experience with ERPs and the use of lean and discrete manufacturing, bill of materials and distribution
· Experience gathering requirements and designing digital applications that improve operations technology across manufacturing, quality, maintenance, warehousing, shipping and third-party integrations
· Experience completing Impact Assessments and SOX audits
· Experience writing business cases that identify value of change
· Active involvement to define strategic digital manufacturing initiative roadmaps
· Lead, execute and deliver IT efforts to design optimal manufacturing 4.0 system solutions incorporating new technologies in close partnership with stakeholders
· Actively looking for specific business needs where digital manufacturing/industry 4.0 solutions could provide substantial benefits
· Work with other IT teams to ensure successful execution and delivery of business solutions
· Keep constant communication with key stakeholders
3) Technical
· 5+ year experience in but not limited to the following technologies
· Visual Studio C#, Data Tools (ETL's)
· SQL Server (SSRS, SSIS, SSAS)
· MES Solutions such as Truechem, AMMS, etc.
· Label Design such as Loftware, CreateForms, etc.
· General understanding of an ERP (Oracle, Dynamics AX)
· Software Development Lifecycle management methodology (SureStep, AIM, Waterfall, Agile)
· Design and development of systems solutions with .Net platforms, PLCs integrations with ERPs, mobile development and middleware platforms and ITIL
· Work with an incident/ticket system for support activities
· Experience with debugging application issues and finding root cause solution.
