Job Description:
Within the Enterprise Portal Services (EPS) – Intranet Technologies (iTech) group of Corporate Technology (CT)/Enterprise Information Technology (EIT), we are looking for a Web Developer 5 to join our team that contributes to development projects and production support for our applications and systems.

This position will be a member of the Enterprise SharePoint services team, which operates several very large SharePoint farms that host intranet sites which numerous lines-of-business within the Bank use for publishing content for internal team collaboration and for light business process applications and workflows. The intended role for this new position will be to act as a lead developer, responsible for helping insure that our SharePoint environments are safe and controlled and responsible for management tools and utilities type applications. Part of that role is not strictly code development, but involves managing application security concerns.

This position will be responsible for helping make sure that weaknesses or gaps in our management processes and system technical vulnerabilities are identified, fixed, and prevented. The role is responsible for maintaining existing SharePoint-related custom code and for creating new applications and features that are used by the EPS team internally to manage our SharePoint platforms.

Responsibilities include:
Work with other technical teams who are responsible for identifying system vulnerabilities to plan and execute steps to remediate them.
Research vulnerabilities that are part of Microsoft products, and work with Microsoft resources to determine best way to fix and test those issues.
Review and revise existing .Net and JavaScript code to make sure it is consistent with the bank’s secure coding standards and remains in compliance with those standards even after it has been deployed to production systems
Work with senior developers, managers, architects, application system engineers, and support staff to create and deploy utilities, diagnostic applications, and reporting systems to help identify and fix runtime problems in custom applications.
Create and implement health monitoring, logging, diagnostic, and alerting capabilities where existing services and applications are at risk of having errors and outages occur undetected.
Coordinate code testing efforts with multiple testing teams; coordinate with other groups to plan and schedule code releases.

5+ years of web development experience; including programming and developing web applications
5+ years of C# experience
5+ years of MS Visual Studio experience
5+ years of SharePoint experience
5+ years of ASP.Net experience
5+ years of HTML (HyperText Markup Language) experience
3+ years of MS SQL server experience
1+ year of leadership experience including coaching, training, and mentoring
5+ years of JavaScript Frameworks experience (jQuery, Ext JS, Kendo UI and/or Angular JS)
3+ years of Cascading Style Sheets experience

Experience programming or developing applications
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
A BS/BA degree or higher in science or technology
Knowledge and understanding of application or software security such as: web application penetration testing, secure code review, secure static code analysis
Knowledge and understanding of desktop and Windows server operating systems
Knowledge and understanding of technical writing
