Role: ServiceNow Tester
Location: Remote
Duration:Long Term Contract
The ServiceNow Tester will be responsible for:
Roles and Responsibilities
• Work within an agile software development process and have an important impact on the cloud platform team.
• Work with the latest quality testing frameworks and tools using Java, Jenkins, JUnit, Selenium, Accessibility related tools and more.
• Responsible for creating test cases based on Requirements
• Responsible for the core testing of a set of tools within the ServiceNow platform per the customers requirements.
• Provide ongoing testing of developed tool suites
• Manage testing practices and ServiceNow provided platforms.
Actively support documentation related to the testing activities
Preferred Skills
• 5+ years of experience in Java programming with Selenium, JUnit and TestNG.
• 8+ years of overall professional experience in Development and/or quality assurance or/and software application development.
• Hands-on experience with C#/Java development using Object Oriented methodologies.
• Strong understanding of software design patterns, algorithms and data structures.
• Experience working within a wide variety of automated testing frameworks, including Java, JUnit, Web driver, TestNG and other open-source projects.
• Knowledge of continuous integration and deployment tools (e.g. Jenkins)
• Experience with a scripting language such as JavaScript/Python/Ruby in a Linux environment
• Proven experience in leading quality engineering efforts within an engineering team of at least 4-6 engineers.
• Proven ability to drive cross-team technical discussions and decision making
• Desire to interact with many different software development teams to develop, test, deploy and report on product performance, quality, security and stability.
• Desire to seek continuous improvement in the quality assurance processes.
Great to have
• Experience with design and execution of ServiceNow ATF
• Experience with testing Integration with directories, such as Active Directory using methods such as LDAPs , Web Services integration experience
