Job Title: ServiceNow Tester
 
Location: Austin, TX / White Plains, NY (Remote)
Job Description:-

  • As an onsite Point of contact, carry out customer interactions regularly, responsible for attending customer calls, regular updates, onshore/offshore coordination, resolving queries, setting up meeting with customers, highlighting the risks, status over weekly call and responsible for QA defect metrics.
  • Knowledge of various ServiceNow Modules & hands on experience in Testing various ServiceNow Modules.
  • Understand the requirements, prepare test plans, test cases, execute & report.
  • Ability to write test cases and test scenario, review, run and generate test reports
  • Understand the Cognizant scope of the QA work, communicate the scope and out of scope to the customer on the collected requirements and sign off to avoid communication gaps
  • Responsible for ensuring the requirements meets the Help Central (ServiceNow) established standards of quality including reliability, usability, and performance
  • Analyse requirements and provide effort for Testing the requirements
  • Detailed Test cases and defect documentation in the radars as per Help Central guidelines
  • Ensure all defects are addressed within the QA cycle, hence avoiding defects in UAT
  • Detailed documentation of defects, classification and reporting on a regular basis
  • Communicate potential risks
  • Provide Weekly Status reports on defects and effort hours
  • Ability to work with a team of testers while working on multiple deliveries simultaneously.
  • Co-coordinating smooth implementation of test plans with the development team.
  • Training the new members in the team and getting them productive quickly.
  • Knowledge in API testing and ATF, with hands on experience in running ATF scripts.
  • Have regular / periodic sync up calls with offshore teams, internal and external stakeholders
  • Good Communication, customer handling skills
  • Willing to stretch beyond office hours whenever business demands
  • Experience in leading the large teams
  • 5+ Years of ServiceNow QA experience is preferable
  • Certification in Any ServiceNow module is an added advantage.
