Title: ServiceNow Administrator
Location: 3712 Jackson Ave, Austin, TX 78731
Duration: 12 Months with possible extension
Last date for submission: December 2, 2021 (10.00 AM-CST)

Note: Remote allowed until COVID-19 situation settles. Working remotely is accepted in accordance with TxDOT’s policies. If the resource is in Austin area, current expectation is to come to the office at least once a week.

DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES:
As a ServiceNow Administrator, you will be responsible for configuration, administration, maintenance, implementation, and expertise of TxDOT’s ServiceNow implementation. You have a solution-focused mindset and the ability to provide excellent customer service, training, and support.
x Configure and enhance core application, including, but not limited to, Service Catalog, Service Portal, Incidents, CMDB, Knowledge Base, and Reporting
x Administration of ServiceNow platform, including issue and performance mitigation, and health checks.
x Guide the improvement of IT support, service management, and managed services deliverables and workflows.
x Establish and enforce systems design and architectural standards through communication, documentation, and metrics.
x Establish and maintain the implementation of best practices throughout the delivery lifecycle.
x Plans, develops, tests, manages, and documents system configurations, customizations, and integrations.
x Ability to work well in a team and independently, communicating clearly and regularly through multiple means to operations, peers, and management.
x Gathering and reviewing stakeholder process requirements and mapping them to ServiceNow capabilities with an eye to industry best practices.
x Maintaining existing applications and implementing additional applications.
x Upgrading the ServiceNow Platform on a regular basis.
x Determines the cause of application or environment problems by gathering information related to the problem; identifies appropriate resolution options; obtains appropriate approval; and coordinates the execution of the selected option.
x Performs other related duties as assigned.

WORKER SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS 
Minimum (Required): 
Years Skills/Experience
4 Administration in ServiceNow in ITSM, CMDB, Service Catalog
4 Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to gather, understand, organize, and interpret relevant data and information
2 Experience translating requirements to technical design

Preferred (Optional): 
Years Skills/Experience
2 Familiar with Client Scripts, Business Rules, Data Policies, and Access Control Lists, scripting experience
2 JavaScript, Jelly Scripting, Glide, HTML, XML and/or JSON
