Role synopsisThe Service Engineer role is responsible for providing technical and operational support of a vendor product, Dayzer (Day-Ahead Locational Market Clearing Prices Analyzer), and in-house developed components that interact with the product. This role will also work directly with Quant Traders and analysts to develop new and enhance existing technical components to support Power trading decisions in Gas & Power Trading Americas (GPTA).
Essential experience and requirements3+ Years experience in Using Dayzer (Day-Ahead Locational Market Clearing Prices Analyzer) tool years of hands-on development Experience in Python, C#, or Java years of database development Experience with one or more RDBMS technologies (Postgres, MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server)Knowledge and experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), monitoring tools (Splunk, CloudWatch), DevOps technologies (ADO, Ansible, Jenkins, GIT), and IT Service Management tools (ServiceNow)Knowledge and experience with the use of Azure DevOps and the Agile methodologyKnowledge and experience with Enterprise job scheduler (preferably Stoneranch)Able to complete tasks quickly and thoroughly, is resolute and highly dependable Self-motivated, and able to thrive in an energetic, fast paced, high growth environment.
