Job Description :

Job Title: Dell EMC-Server Residency (Break-Fix) 

Location: Irvine, CA Onsite only 

Duration:5 year contract

Job Scope Details -Break-fix, day to day monitoring of 6500 PowerEdge servers
• Dell PowerEdge troubleshooting, support in problem identification and resolution, and initiating technical support with Dell support.
o Support Dell PowerEdge C6525 servers
§ iDRAC
o Red Hat/CentOS Linux Operating system
o Nice to have Cisco and Arista switches expertise
• Coordination with technicians from external service providers and vendors for installation, repairs, and upgrades.
• Reports support and/or maintenance issues to Customer

Onsite M-F 8-5.

Duration – 5 Years

1)  The onsite engineer will be a “resident” engineer which means he/she will work daily at the datacenter at 8x5 (not including customer or Dell holidays, vacations, or if they have to be offsite to get parts,….)

2)  The engineer will also be responsible for logging all support cases.  Customer will not log support cases.

3)  Parts locker is onsite
