Position: Senior z/OS Systems Engineer
Location: Bethesda MA
Duration: 12 Month
Remote until covid safe
Required Experience:
• 10+ years’ overall experience in z/OS systems programming
• 10+ years’ experience supporting various vendor products, primarily IBM, Broadcom and BMC
• 5+ years’ experience implementing z/OS dataset level encryption
• Demonstrated experience implementing encryption key management
• Demonstrated experience implementing digital certificates, and certificate lifecycle management
• Ability to troubleshoot all mainframe security problems and issues as they arise
• Create and maintain documentation covering security environment design, process flows, best practices and security standards
Desired Experience:
• Technical certifications
• z/OSMF customization and usage
• Experience in IAM/IGA systems, data protection, authentication and encryption technologies
• Detailed knowledge of z/OS, IMS and DB2 subsystems as they relate to ACF2 security controls
Other Requirements:
• Inclusion in the on-call rotation to provide after-hours support
• Perform analysis of the current environment to detect critical deficiencies and recommend solutions for improvement
• Update and create system documentation as necessary.
