Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in UI/UX field with 2+ years in Salesforce UX design.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, or an equivalent degree preferred.
  • Experience in concept ideation, design strategy, and digital prototyping.
  • Must be very comfortable with graphic design and interactive tools such as A e Creative Suite, Sketch, InVision, Principle, Framer, etc. (And have the drive to always learn and experiment with new tools.)
  • Knowledge or expertise in one or more of the following is a plus: visual design, machine learning, mobile applications, web applications, messaging interfaces, illustration, video/film production.
  • Portfolio submission required for consideration.

Responsibilities and Day-to-Day View

As a UX designer, you will:

  • Use your UX chops to design (and redesign) a diverse set of experiences and products for Salesforce implementations at client. Projects may range from Salesforce Core platform to websites and mobile apps.
  • Use storytelling, UX, and prototypes to compellingly convey the vision, flow, and features of the product you are designing.
  • Collaborate with fellow UX designers, researchers, and team members to generate ideas and get feedback on your designs.
  • Successfully work with developers, project managers, and other internal teams to get your designs into production.
  • Work on several projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines.
  • Support the organization and facilitation of design workshops with clients and partners as needed.

Roles and Responsibilities: Work with team on creative brainstorming, ideation, rapid-prototyping, and other problem-solving with user experience and visual designers, engineers, and other stakeholders on multiple projects.

1) Strong collaboration and alignment with teams responsible for online and mobile experiences ensuring needs me across all media.

2) Design UI comps that reflect sound UX thinking using traditional visual design principles and tools (visual hierarchy, composition, typography, color theory, etc.).

3) Work closely with UX designers and internal user researchers to support usability and focus group test plans and prototype support (paper or interactive prototypes, as appropriate).

4) Strong collaboration skills required to work effectively within and across teams with multiple personality types and cultural backgrounds.

5) Must be able to contribute productively, constructively, and respectfully to debates during solution development. Requires clarity in speech, writing, and presentations to a variety of audiences (ex: engineers, managers, executives).

1) Collaboration and creative brainstorming, ideation, rapid-prototyping, and other problem-solving with user experience and graphic designers, engineers, and other stakeholders on multiple projects. This includes strong collaboration and alignment with teams responsible for online and mobile experiences to ensure customers' needs are met across all media.

2) Documentation and delivery and/or contributing to create briefs, user scenarios and storyboards, text strings, flow charts, annotated wireframes, and other documentation that defines the user experience and providing direction to technical writers creating specification documents.

3) Works closely with our internal user researchers to support usability and focus group test plans as well as prototype support (paper or interactive prototypes, as appropriate).

4) Will serve as user advocate supporting features and products throughout the project lifecycle ensuring the best experience implemented.

5) Includes software development support, reviews, and presentations, ensuring high quality and deadlines are met.
