Title: Senior SAP ABAP Developer Duration: 1 Year + Location: Piscataway, New Jersey Job Description Responsible for the design and development of medium to highly complex systems. Skills should include process and business skills. Works with data and project managers to understand systems and consults with stakeholders to understand requirements. Develops and implements new systems, corrects software errors in existing systems, and works to improve performance through program tuning. Manages and understands computer systems in a business environment and responsible for resolving technical issues. Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or other related field. Ability to manage multiple assignments. Superior written and oral communication skills. Specifically, we are looking for: 8+ years experience as SAP developer with specific experience architecting solutions in SAP using ABAP, object-oriented programming (OOP), comprehensive debugging and performance tuning, and scalable solution design. Accountable for in-depth SAP/ABAP development skills and business knowledge in SAP core modules, SD, MM/IM, FI, and Master Data, and specifically in SAP IS-Retail. Experience in designing and developing interfaces between SAP and non-SAP. Experience with consuming SOAP and REST based web services in SAP. Experience with designing, developing and implementing SAP Workflows. Possess full life-cycle SAP implementations using a recognized methodology. Exposure to all aspects of an SAP environment - PI, SolMan, Enhancement Framework, BADI, IDOC, BW, and HANA. Expertise with programming Function Modules, SmartForms, Object-Oriented ABAP, BOR, User Exits, Enhancements, Reports and Dialog Programming. Good knowledge of SAP interfacing technologies (ALE/IDoc, EDI, BAPIs, flat-file interfaces Strong experience with modern enhancement techniques using BAdI and/or the Enhancement Framework. Self-motivated, team player with the proven ability to work with offshore resources. Excellent analytical, problem solving and communication skills.
