Role: Senior Project Manager
Southfield, MI
Long Term contract
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Engagement Description:
Provide leadership and project direction to ensure successful implementation
Manage the transition of a partner health plan from one IT Solution & BPO partner to another
Subject Areas: Enrollment, Customer Service, Billing, Claims, Risk and Quality (there can be more Also Interfaces, EDI and historic data migration.
Key responsibilities: Understand, manage and track contractual obligations
Prepare executive status reports and facilitate weekly status meetings with key stakeholders
Manage concurrent projects involving cross-functional project teams with members from IT, business operations, process engineering, program management office, and product development
QUALIFICATIONS:
Top 3 Required Skills/Experience:
3-5 years of Project Management experience in the health care industry; preferably Medicare
3-5 years in a SaaS or a BPaaS environment with exposure to IT delivery projects
Well versed in Agile delivery (especially SAFe) and Project Management best practices
Required Skills/Experience – The rest of the required skills/experience. Include:
Expertise in MS Suite, including Project
Excellent presentation skills, especially for senior client executives
Sound knowledge of JIRA and Confluence
Effective organization and time management skills are required
Excellent analytical and problem resolution skills are required
Preferred Skills/Experience:
Experience as Scrum Master or Product Owner
Worked at a health plan
Worked in a software delivery organization or in a BPO setting
Data quality / data validation techniques to ensure information published or presented is accurate
Education/Certifications:
Bachelor degree required in a related field such as Science, Engineering or Healthcare
Master degree preferred in a related field such as Science, Engineering or Healthcare
SAFe related, PMP, CSM certifications are preferred, but nor required
