Position: Sr Java Developer Duration: 6 month Contract-to-hire Location: Raleigh, NC The Sr. Back End Java Developer role is an expert on the tech stack that dives into the code, designing for scalability and reusability. Helps to drive complex application development with an agile mindset to build familiarity with the code base, review pull requests, and influence design decisions. Acts as a key resource in the development of customer tools, interfaces, and API's. Provides technical consulting to management, business users, and technical associates and works closely with other developers as a mentor. Expected to be a consistently reliable technical professional that can handle all job responsibilities autonomously, while executing at the highest level. Collaborates with engineers and architects to lead continuous improvement initiatives. Works closely with the product management team, DevOps, and other stakeholders as part of several development teams working together across various US locations. Delivers flagship digital customer experiences for web and mobile during an exciting time of growth. -5+ years IT experience. -Experience working with customers to build and formulate business requirements. -5+ years Java Web Application development experience. -5+ years of object-oriented analysis and design. -3+ years of working experience writing and consuming RESTful API's. -Experience with ORM frameworks. -General database knowledge such as experience with SQL. -Experience with the Model-View-Controller (MVC) design pattern. -Experience with version control systems such as git, mercurial, or subversion. -Experience working in an agile software development environment. -Knowledge of microservices frameworks such as SpringBoot or Eureka. -Experience with Docker Containers. -Knowledge of JPA or Hibernate -Experience with Unix or Linux Required Skills : MVC, API, Java, springboot,
