Overall Purpose: The Senior Systems Engineer role is responsible for implementing, improving, supporting, and leading the processes for our transition from the SAP payroll system to the new Workday platform through the creation and enhancement of internal tools. This position represents a key role within the organization where you will be responsible for developing and maintaining internal tools and automating processes within global payroll operations.

• Typically requires 5+ years of relevant experience as a developer
• Direct contact experience with operating systems, cloud technologies, and DevOps methodologies used through the entire development pipeline, ensuring smooth operations all the way
• Technical IT/Architect experience with SAP or other payroll or accounting systems/software including, but not limited to the following technologies: Java (language); React (language); RESTful web services; Wildfly application server; Eclipse; Git; MS Visual Code
• Technical knowledge of Workday’s Human Capital Management product
• Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Information Systems, or related technical field.
