Senior Electrical Engineer Mandatory Technical Skills • Completes all phases of design projects of medium level complexity and scope. • Participates in internal design meetings to plan design or design review activities. • Reviews recommended improvements based on analysis and documentation conducted by less experienced engineers. Implements necessary recommendations. • Designs complex test experiments and oversees execution of test experiments and reviews results. • Experience with embedded microprocessors, memory systems, analog circuits, schematic capture, and hi-speed PCB layout best practices. • Knowledge of peripheral connectivity (USB, RS-232, RS-485) and Bluetooth is a plus. • Ability to work in cross-functional teams. • Advanced troubleshooting / problem solving skills. • Excellent written and oral communication skills. • Strong understanding of sustainable design practices • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field. • 6+ years engineering experience Desirable Technical Skills • Designs complex test experiments and oversees execution of test experiments and reviews results. • Experience with embedded microprocessors, memory systems, analog circuits, schematic capture, and hi-speed PCB layout best practices. • Knowledge of peripheral connectivity (USB, RS-232, RS-485) and Bluetooth is a plus. • Experience with ecad tools preferred. Role' Responsibilities Designs, develops, modifies, and evaluates components and processes used in the generation, manipulation, transmission, and storage of electricity. Determines design approaches and parameters. Analyzes equipment to establish operating data and conducts experiments. Completes documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance. May interact with users to define system requirements and/or necessary modifications. Analyze designs to designate necessary equipment to collect data. Evaluate and synthesize experimental tests and their results. Read and design plans to build electrical systems on a variety of products and machinery. Focus on manipulation and usage of electricity within a function of an engineered process. Exercises judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Bachelor's degree required. Advanced degree is preferred. Minimum of 6 years of experience. Understands schematics and electronic documentation. Advanced understanding of electrical engineering concepts.
